The case shares some of the design codes of the original Monaco, made famous by its appearance on Steve McQueen’s wrist in the film Le Mans (1971), however, it exudes an abundance of modernity. Constructed of “space-grade black titanium”, it looks like it has arrived from another planet. The shiny black appearance has a sensual aesthetic, evoking a slightly mysterious persona.
The hour and minute hands are black-coated and lined with white luminescent material to their centres. Along with the aesthetic appeal of the watch design, the timepiece is also a highly practical ownership proposition with peerless ease of read-off, obvious within the first few moments of association.
