This orphan, restored and decorated on the basis of the original 1969 iconic watch (model 1133B), will participate in the "Game Changers" clock auction on December 10, 2019. (Phillips) for auction. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to the United Way of New York City. The attractive highlight of this new Tag Heuer Monaco replica is the decorated movement, which is now visible through its transparent case back. The case back was originally closed, but the highly skilled Tag Heuer watchmakers cut a circle shape from stainless steel and replaced it with a sapphire mirror. This ingenious production improvement gives a glimpse of the built-in decorative movement. The watchmaker disassembled the movement and various parts, and upgraded each part of the chronograph module, which included beveling all parts and embellishing the parts with straight grain processing, and functional surfaces. Mirror polished with the thread, and 3 rubies have been added to make the number of gems up to 20. The movement splint demonstrates breathtaking artistic ingenuity; the minutes and seconds timer splint are hand-engraved with the words "Cal. Eleven" (Calibre 11 movement), the font reflects the style of the 1970s, and the clock timer splint "Monaco" is displayed. These two splints must be remade, as the prototype is too thin to withstand the fine cuts. The date display has also been changed, and the numbers are now red instead of black.
